TIME
All confirmed clients are scheduled for 8 hours per session. Sometimes this does go over so please take off the entire day for your session. This applies both to local clients and clients traveling to Jane Doe Tattoo & Piercing in Dallas, Texas from the state or country in which they reside.
Many of these designs are often grand in nature and such large-scope concepts require more than one and/or several sessions. Please refer to ESTIMATES further down on this FAQ.
Clients will be charged at the end of each session. If the session meets its maximum of 8 hours, the client will be responsible for a payment of $2400 USD. Otherwise, this will be preceded by the usual hourly rate ($300/hour).
Since relocating to Dallas, Texas I have started picking up the cost of the flight (up to $300) for my ongoing and traveling clients. If you’re wanting to get tattooed but are out of state, please email me your booking request and mention travel voucher in the description.
RATES
As of January 2022, My hourly rate is $300. If we are working on a large scale project spanning more than 3 sessions, the 4th session and after will be discounted to $250 per hour.
SIZING & ESTIMATES
I’m most inspired to pursue larger pieces (back, chest/torso, arm and leg sleeves, etc). Generally a minimum of at least 8”. However, there are exceptions to any rule.
I typically tattoo 1.5 square inch/hour. If you are looking for an estimate you can just divide your size by 1.5 & multiply by $300. For example, an 8 inch tattoo would take a little over 5 hours so an estimate would be approximately $1600.
DEPOSITS
I do require a deposit of $300 due upon the booking of your appointment. Upon appointment confirmation, you will be sent instruction on how to pay the deposit. The deposit is to be paid via Zelle. Your deposit goes towards the total cost of your tattoo.
CURRENCY + PAYMENT
I charge the currency of the country I am working in. All tattoos must be paid for in cash. Please plan ahead & be sure to pull out cash ahead of time as the ATMs around the shop have limits on what you can withdraw. If you forget to bring cash, you can pay by Zelle. However, there will be a 3% processing fee added on and this method is ill-favored.
